• Which computer software programs are you familiar with?
Generally, you want to answer this question with Microsoft answers. “I am an expert at Excel, Powerpoint, Word and all Microsft programs. I am very proficient with these programs”
• What types of filing systems have you managed?
The key to this question is to answer that you are always organized and caught up. Interviewers aren’t looking for the system, they are looking at your specific skills.
• How many hours do you normally work?
Long hours are not a problem with me. I work to complete tasks and do not set a standard amount of time to be worked
• How would you describe the pace at which you work?
I work at an extremely fast pace, however I do take the time to review priorities to make sure my pace is aligned with objectives
• Can you keep a secret?
“Absolutely, I know that in this job role secrets are always happening and it’s my responsibility not to tell anyone”
• What motivates you?
Always answer family. “My family motivates me. I work as hard as possible at work so I can always provide a better lifestyle for my family”
• What do you find are the most difficult decisions to make?
Decision making for me is extremely easy, however when a decision effects someone else’s life, those generally take more consideration
• What are you passionate about?
Delivering World Class results on time and working closely with my peers to exceed results
• Do you prefer to work independently or on a team?
I love working independently because I am the one person I can always count on, however, teamwork is vital! I enjoy being able to get input from others on critical decisions
• What is your ideal work environment?
I want to work in a work environment where everyone is held accountable for their actions and recognized for their performance
• If I am your boss, and you know for certain that I was completely wrong about something how would you handle it?
I would definitely address it, but I would make sure that I explain the hows and whys that are involved with the correct version. I want to be able to have an open conversation regarding our work to obtain better results
• How did you overcome a difficult work situation?
Understanding the job role and responsibilities makes it much easier to overcome any situation. Usually I will just work very hard and ask my peers for assistance when needed
• How did you handle a time when your workload was heavy.
Prioritization and organization are key. You need to determine which tasks need to be worked first with the highest priority and then execute effectively
