“My field is so exciting and rewarding. Call me a nerd, but I love it! I would love the opportunity to do what I truly love and to get paid for it. That’s a win-win situation.

• How good are your practical laboratory skills?

“Second to none. I’ve spent many years in the labatory and it’s paid off. All of my best work comes from the lab”

• How many hours do you normally work?

Long hours are not a problem with me. I work to complete tasks and do not set a standard amount of time to be worked

• What parts of your course have you found most interesting and why?

This one is all up to you. Be honest, but also add some flair to your answer to make it sound more important and intersting.

• Can you work closely with others?

“In the lab, it is vital to work closely with others. Working in a team enviroment gets you the best results so I’m all for it”

Simple answer, just be honest. This is where years of experience pays off.

• What do you find are the most difficult decisions to make?

“Decision making for me is extremely easy, however when a decision effects someone else’s life, those generally take more consideration”

Delivering World Class results on time and working closely with my peers to exceed results

• Do you prefer to work independently or on a team?

I love working independently because I am the one person I can always count on, however, teamwork is vital! I enjoy being able to get input from others on critical decisions

• What is your ideal work environment?

I want to work in a work environment where everyone is held accountable for their actions and recognized for their performance

• If I am your boss, and you know for certain that I was completely wrong about something how would you handle it?

I would definitely address it, but I would make sure that I explain the hows and whys that are involved with the correct version. I want to be able to have an open conversation regarding our work to obtain better results

• How did you overcome a difficult work situation?

Understanding the job role and responsibilities makes it much easier to overcome any situation. Usually I will just work very hard and ask my peers for assistance when needed

• How did you handle a time when your workload was heavy.

Prioritization and organization are key. You need to determine which tasks need to be worked first with the highest priority and then execute effectively
